Uninstalling DEX on Windows

DEX doesn't use the Windows installer, so uninstallation is simple:

  • 1
    Drag the desktop icon to the trash
  • 2
    Delete the resource directory and its contents from C:\users\<your user name>\Dex
That's it! No registry entries or other system files are modified by DEX.
Uninstalling DEX on Linux

To uninstall DEX on Linux, follow these steps:

  • 1
    Drag the desktop icon to the trash (deletes ~/Desktop/dex.desktop)
  • 2
    Delete the program from your home directory
  • 3
    Delete the resources directory and its contents from ~/Dex
No system-wide files are modified during installation, so no additional cleanup is required.
